Rukhad zone is also known as Bison Sanctuary or Bison Retreat. This zone houses striking dense forest jungle and recommended for forest lovers who flock here in exploration of nature’s beauty, respite, and solitude. Though the density of animals is less, one can enjoy the beautiful forest along with a mesmerizing sunset from the top of Korai Garh during your safari in this zone of Pench. The zone carries various species of flowers and trees. Open throughout the year, visitors can explore Rukhad zone by Jeep safari.

How to reach

Rukhad is at a distance of 35 km from Turiya gate, Rukhad is the buffer zone of Pench National Park. The entry gate of this zone is situated at Rukhad village on NH - 44. Seoni is closest town from Rukhad.

Morning 6 AM - 11 AM and Afternoon3 PM - 6 PM, closed on every Wednesday evening, during Holi & Diwali

Booking details

One has to register on the website forest.mponline.gov.in to book a safari and after login you need to select the permit type i.e. full vehicle or single personby selecting date of the safari now click the search button beside the date to proceed, here you can select the gates and slot and proceed for the tourist details like name, age, gender, nationality, photo id proof numbers. For Indian nationals Aadhar card, passport, driving license, voter id etc are valid. For Non-Indians passport details & country is mandatory.
