Khawasa Buffer

This buffer is also known as the Wolf Sanctuary and one can experience night safari in this area. The area is mostly open wooded forest which is preferred by animals like wolves, foxes, porcupines, Owls. This buffer has can be approached easily, when one is staying towards the Turia gate.

How to reach

Khawasa gate is at a distance of 3 km from Khawasa Village, which falls in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh.

Nagpur - Mansar - Khawasa : 88 kms.
Jabalpur - Seoni - Khawasa : 190 kms.

Safari timing

There are 02 shifts i.e. morning & evening. Morning shifts are from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Evening safaris are from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Booking details

One has to register on the website forest.mponline.gov.in to book a safari and after login you need to select the permit type i.e. full vehicle or single personby selecting date of the safari now click the search button beside the date to proceed, here you can select the gates and slot and proceed for the tourist details like name, age, gender, nationality, photo id proof numbers. For Indian nationals Aadhar card, passport, driving license, voter id etc are valid. For Non-Indians passport details & country is mandatory.
