Sillari
This is the famous and is considered to be a premium zone and is a part of Maharashtra Pench Reserve. Sillari is located around 85 kms from Nagpur, when you are travelling from Nagpur to Jabalpur. Sillari has a beautiful forest with dense Bamboo and Teak, with a lot of water bodies and waterfalls. One can even see the TotlahDoh Dam build on the Pench River. This part of the forest has good sightings of Wild Dogs, Sloth Bear and the chances of spotting the wild predators in their natural habitats is high in this zone. The entry gate of the zone is situated at Sillari village.
How to reach
Sillari gate is at a distance of 26 km from Khawasa and 85 km from Nagpur, and the entry gate of the zone is situated at Sillari village located on NH-44.
Safari timing
There are 02 shifts i.e. morning &evening. Morning shifts are from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Evening safaris are from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Booking details
nationalpark.mahaonline.gov.in is the official site for booking safaris. One has to register on this site & after going to wild life section you need to fill details like name, age, gender, nationality, and photo id proof numbers. For Indian nationals Aadhar card, passport, driving license, voter id etc. are valid. For Non-Indians passport details & country is mandatory. By booking safari you only secure your seat for safaris. Rest formalities are done on the safari day itself.
