Maharashtra Gate

Khursapar is one of the most popular safari destinations of Pench National Park on the Maharashtra Side. The entrance to the area is located in the village of Khursapar. After Sillari, Khursapar is considered the main site and falls under the Maharashtra side of the Pench forest. It is home to a variety of natural waters, which attract many species of birds and wildlife. It is a very popular destination among day visitors as the chances of seeing wildlife in their natural habitats are great in this area.It has become popular in recent years due to good tiger sightings.It is an area of 65 sq.kms. This area is an undulating terrain. It does not have high hills, but majority of the area is full of ups and downs. It is fairly denser than the other area. There are some manmade saucer shaped waterholes, which is very much helpful for all the animals during the hot season.
